Google Results in 8 days!

In November 2008, we met with the Directors of a company who we’d worked for before on a consultancy basis. They were now interested in using us for some web work.  They explained that they had a website which had been produced by a web design company but – unless you typed in the actual name of the site, it was well “off the radar”. In short, it added nothing to their business and never had.

They wanted to use us but – (and isn’t there always a but…) before they changed from the company they had been using for the last two years, they wanted proof that we could get the phenomenal results that we claim.

That’s where we hit a snag, because as a matter of policy we never, ever divulge the names or details of any client, so we couldn’t just fire up the laptop and say “there you are”.

So, after some discussion, we agreed to lay it on the table before them – we’d demonstrate what we can do by producing a brand new site entitled “Small Business Profit” (name and target decided at that meeting) - we can always do with another website! After 8 days we had some results which you can see from the screenshots below.

To say they were impressed understates it somewhat – incredible results after 8 days when their existing website was absolutely nowhere in 2 years. And yes, we’ve now produced their website which is currently at 1, 3 & 4 in Google.

So, on the back of this little site – (which joins our other 63 sites) – we’ve decided to offer to produce 50 sites for new clients at a remarkable discount. Why? Normally we work for a client on a consultancy basis first and then we offer our website services. Here, we’re trying it the other way round. We’ll produce you a website that performs and then we hope to do some consultancy work for you

PS Update — Put in “small business profit” WITHOUT the quotes into a Google search now and you’ll see this site is at NUMBER TWO out of 65 million!
