Some readers seem to have noticed that all of my Twitter accounts seem to have grown exponentially. Absolutely true! And I’ve had a lot of questions recently on this………Have I spent my life, these past few months, behind closed doors, being a slave to Social media? Have I given up turning businesses around because I’ve made a few million on Twitter? Nope and nope!
I cannot think of anything more soul destroying than becoming a slave to any form of social media. It’s a great tool used correctly. Trouble is, it seems that many get sucked in to the “gotta get more followers” routine and it consumes them. To be honest, I don’t spend more than an hour a week (total) on my five accounts and yet they quietly grow in the background whilst I’m sleeping or generally getting on with my life….
